1. Who we are
ZumoIQ is operated by ZumoIQ Tecnología SRL, based in San José, Costa Rica. Reach us at hello@zumoiq.com.
2. What we provide
ZumoIQ is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) that connects to your Google Business Profile, reads your reviews, drafts AI replies in your tone, measures satisfaction after every visit, and surfaces operational patterns from recurring themes in reviews.
The service runs on a best-effort basis. We do our best to keep it available; if a significant outage occurs we notify you by email and credit pro rata where appropriate.
3. What you pay
- Plans start at ₡5,000/month (≈ $10 USD). Billed in advance on the day you activate.
- Payments are processed by OnvoPay or SINPE Móvil. We never store your card number.
- 13% Costa Rican VAT is included in the displayed price.
- Upgrades are pro-rated. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
4. How to cancel
Cancel from /app/settings in one click. No phone call, no email, no retention loop. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current cycle (you already paid for that month; we honor it).

5. Your content is yours
Everything you upload to ZumoIQ (customer reviews, approved replies, photos, brand voice settings) belongs to you. You grant us a license to deliver the service (e.g., to generate AI drafts for your business).
For 30 days after cancellation you can export everything as JSON or CSV from /app/export. After 30 days we delete the data permanently, except what Costa Rican tax law requires us to keep (invoices, minimum 5 years).
6. What you can't do
- Don't use ZumoIQ to reply on someone else's or a fake profile. We verify against Google Business Profile.
- Don't manipulate reviews (buy fake reviews, pay for reviews, etc.). If we detect this, we close your account with no refund.
- Don't resell the service, abuse the API, or scrape data.
7. When we can suspend you
If you breach section 6, if your payment fails for 14+ days, or if your usage puts other customers at risk, we can suspend your account. We email you first whenever possible.
8. Liability limits
ZumoIQ is a tool. Final decisions are yours. We're not liable for: replies you approved that turned out wrong, indirect or consequential damages, lost profit, or events outside our control (hosting-provider outages, Google API outages, internet failure).
Our maximum liability in any dispute is the amount you paid in the previous 12 months. This cap doesn't apply to harm caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct (Costa Rica Law 7472, article 32).
9. Changes to these terms
If we change anything material, we email you 30 days in advance. If you disagree, you can cancel and receive a full pro-rated refund. No retroactive changes.
10. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Costa Rica. We resolve disputes first by good-faith conversation (email legal@zumoiq.com); if that fails, in the courts of San José.
